Bakenhof is on the Malmesbury road just outside Wellington, under an hour from Cape Town, with the Hawequa mountains behind the vineyards. The farm has a glass-walled venue and a white glass chapel set in the vines, with gardens, a rose garden and a hot tub around them.

An all-inclusive wedding package is offered and 2026 and 2027 package PDFs are published on the site. Eight self-catering suites in two complexes, sleeping 22 adults and four children, are a short walk from the venue, and there are dedicated getting-ready facilities. Bakenhof won a Luxury Lifestyle Award in 2024 for best luxury wedding venue in Wellington.
