Vrede en Lust

Vrede en Lust is at the corner of the R45 and Klapmuts Road in Simondium, between Paarl and Franschhoek. The wedding venue has frameless glass walls looking onto the vineyards and seats up to 120 with the dance floor inside, or 150 with the dance floor outside. The Vineyard Terrace adds 300 square metres of outdoor floor, 250 of it under a permanent roof, next to a historic cellar with its own kitchen and toilets.

Catering is in-house from Lust Bistro & Bakery, and the estate runs industrial generators during power cuts. Weddings are booked for a minimum of two nights with exclusive use of the venue and the accommodation area, which sleeps 52 within walking distance; a villa is available as an extra.
