Manly Baker Boutiquery

Manly Baker is run by Rickus Swanepoel from Protea Hoogte in Cape Town's northern suburbs. He started baking wedding cakes in 2013 and builds each design from a consultation about the couple's story. The studio also makes celebration cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes and its ManD'OH cookie range.

Cake tastings are offered, and the team delivers and assembles the cake at the venue rather than expecting couples to collect a stacked cake. In 2023 the studio won gold in the fairy-tale wedding cake category at Cake Champions with a 27 kg upside-down chandelier cake. Prices are by quote.
